Cub Scout Pack 1

Cub Scout Pack 1 is chartered by the Boy Scouts of America and sponsored by Christ Church Short Hills. Pack 1 has been providing fun, learning and outdoor adventure to boys of Short Hills and Millburn for over 80 years!

Membership is open to boys in grades 1 - 5.  Generally the Pack 1 Scouts attend the elementary schools in Short Hills, but membership is open to boys who attend any school. Even though the Cub Scout pack is sponsored by Christ Church Short Hills, members may be of any religious affiliation. We have a very diverse group of Scouts in Pack 1.

Scout Pack 15
 

The Boy Scouts of America was incorporated on February 8, 1910. Troop 15 of Short Hills, New Jersey was chartered about sixteen years later, in 1926. Over the years, Troop 15 has distinguished itself as one of the finest Boy Scout Troops in our area. The Troop has helped more than 100 Scouts achieve the rank of Eagle Scout. Scouting teaches values, leadership, the importance of community service and provides fellowship and outdoor adventure to the Scouts, adult leaders and parents. Troop 15 is sponsored by Christ Church of Short Hills.

Membership is open to any boy between the age of 11 and 17. Boys who are Cub Scouts may join once they have earned the Arrow of Light or reach the age of 11. Other boys may join when they reach the age of 11, or when they complete the 5th grade. But boys may join at any time if they meet the age requirement.
