The Parish Choir of Christ Church is open to all, from middle school age to adult sharing in worship with song. The choir is comprised of volunteer voices and professional sector leaders that sing at the 10 a.m. Eucharist each Sunday. Parish Choir activities begin in September and continue through early June. Rehearsals are on Wednesdays from 7:15 p.m. to 8:45 p.m., and on Sundays at 9 a.m.
The Summer Choir is open to all members of the parish to sing at our informal, fun weekly 10 a.m. Sunday service in Parish Hall. The choir meets at 9:15 a.m. in the Choir Room to rehearse hymns and simple anthems on a “join us when you can” basis.
The Canterbury Choir is open to all elementary age children. Rehearsals are every Sunday at 11:15 a.m. from September through early June. Our energetic youth choir sings on All Saints’ Day and Advent I, as well as at Christmas, Palm Sunday, Easter and Youth Sunday. Members of the Canterbury Choir receive musical training in preparation to move up to the Parish Choir.
The Festival Choir is comprised of members of the parish and local area residents that unite in song as one voice for special music festivities, concerts, Evensong services, or special feast days. The Festival Choir rehearses with sectional voice leaders and instrumentalists to perform selected major works from noted religious composers.
